6mm HPF Carrier Grid Box

Please note: these grid boxes are taller than the conventional grid box, to house the 6mm HPF carriers standing up. They are not currently compatible with cryoEM pucks when using pin lids - they are compatible with cryoEM pucks if using low profile lids.

A grid box for your 6mm HPF samples. The 6mm HPF sample carrier/planchet grid box is a container that has two pockets, each of which can hold a sandwich of 2 6mm HPF planchets or a single 6mm planchet. The 6mm HPF carrier grid box is not designed to hold any traditional TEM grids, but allows you to store your 6mm HPF samples securely under liquid nitrogen in a container with the same form as traditional TEM grid boxes, making it easily compatible with cryoEM workstations and storage systems (pucks, or similar). Furthermore, the same lids, e.g. plastic pin lids, metal pin lids, etc., can be used, as well as the same tools for fastening and unfastening lids and moving grid boxes. Offered in 6 different colors and with a unique 5-digit serialization, supporting easy and efficient organization.
